Sarasa Nano vs Sarasa Clip: Same JF Family, Different Writing Feel
This is my favorite kind of comparison: two pens from the same family that can share refill logic, while the body mechanism changes how the tip feels on paper.
Sarasa Nano changes the body mechanism, not the basic idea of Sarasa gel ink.
Zebra says Nano uses its “Uru-Fuwa Cushion” spring mechanism to absorb scratchy feedback in ultra-fine writing. Current Nano models list JF-0.3 and JF-0.38 refills.
Clip = classic. Nano = ultra-fine cushion.
Sarasa Clip is Zebra's standard click gel pen across 0.3 to 1.0mm. Sarasa Nano focuses on 0.3 and 0.38mm and adds a spring-based cushion that lets the refill move with writing pressure.

Why Nano feels different
Zebra says the internal refill moves vertically according to writing pressure so the spring absorbs scratchy contact and reduces tip catching on paper.
Why Clip is still the easier default
Sarasa Clip offers a much wider diameter range and large color family. If you are not specifically chasing ultra-fine writing, the standard Clip is the simpler starting point.
If you write tiny planner notes, Nano makes sense. If you want one cheap pen that can become anything from 0.3 to 1.0, Clip is the easy answer.
