Zojirushi Rice Cooker Model Numbers Explained: NW-PS10 vs NW-PS18
A rice cooker can look almost identical in a marketplace thumbnail while the last two digits hide a huge capacity difference. This is why I save the full Zojirushi model number.
NW-PS is the family. 10 vs 18 changes the capacity.
Zojirushi lists NW-PS10 as a 5.5-cup / 1.0L model and NW-PS18 as a 1-sho / 1.8L model.
How Zojirushi tells you what you actually own
Zojirushi says rice-cooker model numbers beginning with NX, NW, NP, NH, NS or NL are printed on the front/top area; color/finish information can be on the side or back.

Zojirushi lists a 3-year inner-pot coating warranty for the NW-PS family, subject to its conditions.
Use the complete model number before buying an inner pot, lid component, manual or used replacement unit.
Why “NW-PS” alone is not enough
The two current sizes differ dramatically in capacity. A seller that shortens the name to “NW-PS rice cooker” has removed information you actually need.
I never order a rice-cooker part from the product photo. I check the label on the machine first, because black round inner pots all start looking suspiciously identical online.
